If you don’t already know about Sunfish, prepare to have your mind musically blown! Comprising the ultimate guys-next-door, this band perfectly harnesses the raw energy of teenage angst and then refines it into ear-shattering guitar solos and deafening drumbeats…Sunfish is becoming an absolute game-changer for the sound of Salt Lake City—they are as adaptable as a chameleon with twice as many colors, and yet somehow still relatively undiscovered. There are no boundaries to what this band can achieve; from psychedelic grooves to funky beats,Sunfish masters whatever sound they choose to finesse that week.” – Sage Holt—Slug Magazine

Black Pontiac

Black Pontiac is a band born out of tension. Emerging from an underground scene they helped reshape in the wake of the pandemic, the Vancouver, BC quartet has been walking a careful line ever since — balancing grit and glam, youthful exuberance and anxious introspection, garage rock edge and indie-pop hooks. It’s a tightrope act where contradiction isn’t a flaw, but the point. Their sound thrives in the push and pull, and with over 10 millions streams on Spotify, several tours, festival appearances, and support slots for acts like lovelytheband and Peach Pit under their belt, the band is poised to turn up the tension even higher with a new project coming in 2025. It will dive headfirst into the chaos and contradictions that have come to define Black Pontiac — a reckless, anxious, swaggering, and tender collection of songs grappling with the performance of masculinity, the fear of falling apart, and the desperate attempt to carve out a sense of joy and belonging in the mess.

Dela Freed

Dela Freed

Dela Freed is an indie alternative band formed in Boise ID. The band is led by songwriter Noah Childs alongside drummer, Josh Malloy and Nish Nandankar on Bass and Keys. Previously releasing music as an independent artist under his own name, Noah had been wanting to form a band. He met Josh while working for a local film, Noah recording vocals and Josh as an actor on set. Shortly after their encounter, Josh shared that he was in the gym listening to one of Noah’s albums and knew in a moment that he had to play music with him. That same day, Josh bought a drum kit and they started jamming and learning songs together. After a year of having no luck finding another member the two eventually found the missing piece to fill out the bands ambitious sound: Nish Nandankar. Released recordings are production heavy, hopeful sounding anthems with the goal to fill the listeners ears and hearts, while live shows are more energized, stripped down, engaging versions with the goal of making every show they play their best.
