Terror is Scott Vogel – vocals, Martin Stewart – guitar, Jordan Posner – guitar, Nicholas Jett – drums, and Christopher Linkovich – bass.

Nobody could have ever guessed the trajectory that hardcore would have taken back when this movement was first formed. And in the early 2000s, nobody would have guessed that a band like TERROR would still be one of the most influential bands in the subgenre, 24 years after their start. Their aggression, coupled with a love and appreciation for the scene that so many have come and gone from, or even forgotten altogether, has let them thrive- now unveiling their tenth full length record, STILL SUFFER, releasing April 24th on Flatspot Records.

Originating from Los Angeles, California, during a time when hardcord needed a band to smash things back to center as the genre found itself falling off track, TERROR rushed in, immediately made their mark and never let go.

Working with producer (and former guitarist) Todd Jones, the band created ten fast, aggressive, in-your-face tracks that embrace the themes that made TERROR so influential in the first place. Songs about self empowerment, survival and an unrelenting will to face challenges head on with the values and support found within these walls.

STILL SUFFER was rounded out with engineering and some additional production by Taylor Young at The Pit Recording Studio, mixing by Jon Markson, and mastering by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, with additional vocal engineering by Jay Zubricky at GCR Audio, and drum engineering at Studio 606 by Taylor Young and Oliver Roman. Guest vocals on the album come from Jay Peta of Mindforce on “Beauty in the Losses,” Brody King of God’s Hate and Dan Seely of King Nine on “Deconstruct It,” along with Hot Water Music’s Chuck Ragan providing an assertive delivery on “Fear The Panic,” a song which was also co-produced by New Found Glory’s Chad Gilbert.

From the start, TERROR has never turned their back on the things that made this band so vital since its inception. With the release of STILL SUFFER, it’s clear that the band has no sign of letting up, continuing to succeed on their mission to deliver hardcore authentic to themselves and to show the world that this is much more than just music. This community and movement that nobody can truly put into words, is the exact place the energy comes from that fuels TERROR to continue to build and grow with STILL SUFFER.

“Forever doesn’t change, you’re damaged just like me.”

Pain Of Truth

Long Island, NY hardcore band Pain of Truth have dropped their crushing new single “Under My Skin.” Focused on finding the positives in cutting ties with toxic friendships, the track boasts a repetitive stomping rhythm that eventually forms into an al out heavy breakdown that is set to incite a ruthless mosh. Michael Smith’s attitude filed vocals meet with the gruffness of Criminal Instinct’s Josiah Hoeflinger for an intense dual vocal attack. The song marks the second single, following “Actin’ Up,” from Pain Of Truth’s debut full-length Not Through Blood set for release September 8th on DAZE.

Following the 2020 EP, No Blame…Just Facts, and a 2021 split with Age Of Apocalypse, Not Through Blood finds the band sounding sharp-er and meaner than ever. Always making things a community afair, POT’s No Blame….Just Facts included six guest vocal contributions and Not Through Blood adds up to a whopping thirteen guest features. Freddy Cricien of Madball, Scott Vogel of Terror, Justice Tripp of Trapped Under Ice, Vinnie Caruana of The Movielife, Jay Peta of Mindforce, and  Brendan Garone of Incendiary are just the tip of the iceberg to who listeners wil find lending their voice to the album. Not Through Blood was recorded and mixed by Andy Nelson at Bricktop Studio in Chicago, IL and mastered by Bill Henderson at Azimuth Recordings. It is available for vinyl preorder now through DAZE and digital on Bandcamp

End It

End It

End It hail from Baltimore, MD and they want you to know it. Formed in 2017, the five-piece have pride for the city and often address the unease mixed with hope that stems from the community they live in. The band came out strong with the release of their self-titled EP the same year they started, and followed it up with 2020’s One Way Track. In the summer of 2022, the band took the hardcore world by storm with the EP, Unpleasant Living released through Flatspot Records. Quickly becoming a favorite with fans and press alike, the album landed on best of the year lists from Revolver, BrooklynVegan, Stereogum, No Echo and more.

The six songs address everything from questioning the systems of society to gatekeeping the music scene they love. The band takes heavy influence from ‘90s hardcore, while throwing in their own flavor of thrashy guitars and charismatic vocals from Akil Godsey. The EP was recorded with Kevin Bernsten at Developing Nations and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, who helped bring an even bigger intensity to the band’s incredibly fast-paced tracks.

The vibrant appeal of the album is only rivaled by End It’s insanely fun and captivating live show. The band knows how to command a room, whether it’s a DIY-style tour like recents runs with The Chisel and Cold World, or supporting legacy acts like Fucked Up and Gorilla Biscuits.

The band has already started 2023 swinging with the release of standalone single “Familia Finito” and multiple international festival plays on the horizon.

It’s time to pay attention, because End It is taking over.
