Cactus Moon is a Boise-based band that conjures a modern spaghetti western atmosphere with memorable pop hooks and folky instrumentals, punctuated by memorable surf guitar riffs. Led by vocalist and singer-songwriter Chelsea Smith and guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Freeman DeJongh, the band also features Tyler McFarlane on guitar, Jacob Geier on bass and Wade Ronsse on drums. Their debut album DAY FOR NIGHT came out in Summer 2025. Recommended for lovers of western-style folk, indie rock and alt-country with a psychedelic streak.
