Cactus Moon

Cactus Moon is a western psych rock band led by singer-songwriters Chelsea Smith and Freeman DeJongh, conjuring a modern spaghetti western atmosphere with memorable surfy guitar hooks, haunting melodies and folky instrumentals, for a sound that has been called “radiant” and “striking” by Rotate Magazine and “Catchy, cinematic, and dripping with retro-folk swagger” by Melodrift.com. Their 2025 album Day for Night debuted a genre-bending sound that evokes the melodious folk jams you might hear while frequenting the corner saloon on a full moon night. The sound invites listeners into an irresistible world that feels both familiar and just a little bit surreal.
