Worry Club is a Chicago-based band started by Chase Walsh (singer/songwriter) in January 2020. In just under four years, the band has amassed over 12 million streams. Worry Club has built an engaged and devoted fan base through a discography of singles that quickly found their audience online during the pandemic and the collective’s staunch advocacy for mental health awareness. In 2023 they released their third EP, “All Frogs Go to Heaven”, which received a long list of editorial playlists across DSPS, and coverage from notable press outlets. 2024 has started off with their most recent release, “I Suck” which is about falling behind in relationships and admitting that you suck. It’s about taking the easy way out and admitting you suck instead of taking real accountability. They have attracted high interest from multiple record labels, and have plans to release music and tour as much as possible.
Sorry Mom
NYC-based queer punk duo Sorry Mom was built on east coast grit and punk-fueled chaos. The duo, comprised of Juno Moreno and Taryn Gangi, were college buddies, and they credit their collegiate music scene for kick-starting their career after being admittedly ticked off that the bands on campus were heavily male-dominated.
The band is noticeably unostentatious, and prefer to let their music do the talking. Beware the band will deliver you a heavy dose of sarcasm and the realest set of lyrics you’ve ever heard. Sorry Mom is carving out their own unique space in the scene, and infusing their no nonsense, I don’t give a f*ck attitude into every song they make.
Payette
Payette is the solo project of Boise-based songwriter and producer Ryan Elliott. His fifth album Teal is inspired by the new shades created when two people’s colors blend together. It’s full of love songs with personal attachments, but with lyrics that can resonate with anyone. With his signature blend of indie pop, rock, and jazz, he navigates through the various stages of a relationship, from a simple crush at a party to something deeper. While blue and green create the record’s titular hue, the music invites the listener to examine their own relationships and the way you might interact with those you love.
