Art Morera
Art Morera’s journey began growing up in Miami, Florida with Cuban parents and raised on martial arts fundamentals with a wide variety of oldies and classic songs as well as rap and rock and roll becoming the soundtrack to his upbringing. Art always played with words expressing himself through poetry and storytelling. Rap and Hip-Hop had a big presence in his environment, and the craft of rap became his main passion.
Although Art grew up in a city, he was also fascinated with scenic views and the idea of traveling to new places, exploring with friends for the memories and new experiences. His favorite songs often consisted of subject matter based around being well traveled. He became fascinated with traversing uncharted territories for the thrill and the stories they became.
With a sense of yearning for more than just life in Miami, he ventured off to North California upon a friend’s invitation to participate in cannabis cultivation, Humboldt becoming his 2nd home.Years of trials and tribulations, putting out over 20 music projects over the span of a decade and developing an eye for cinematography, even dwelling out of a cargo van into a small living space and recording studio for a few years resulted in Art moving to New Jersey and collaborating with Hip-Hop greats such as Homeboy Sandman and Kurious, emcees known for their positive outlook on life that is apparent in their music. New York being the mecca of hip-hop, if Art truly loves this culture the way he knows he does in his heart, it’s only right he dedicates time there to experience it for himself, which is where he currently is based out of until the wind calls for adventure once again.
