Optiflynn is a Boise based modern ensemble that blends acoustic and electronic instruments in a symphonic setting. We released a new album titled Various Ways that was inspired by the writings of Italo Calvino. His works (Invisible Cities and Cosmicomics) forge the backbone of a fantasy tale that spans multiple lifetimes. Memories of the past, lessons from the present, and fears about the future are weaved together with cellos, clarinets, and brass. The final journey unfolds at the Goathead Factory, where the character's souls are released from the cycle of life and death.
