Micah Preite is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter, jazz guitarist, and producer. Inspired by Daniel Rossen, Billy Strayhorn, Thelonious Monk, Elliott Smith, and 20th- century classical music, he blends cinematic arrangements with intimate, electronically processed acoustic layers. In September 2022, he self-released his debut album, producing and performing every instrument. A prolific collaborator, Preite produced Kate Davis's 2024 Anti Records singles, played guitar on Mustafa’s 2024 Dunya (Live) video featuring Daniel Caesar, co-produced and co-wrote several songs on Ralph Castello’s 2025 album Hope, Alaska, and contributed guitar to Quinine’s 2025 Paper Doll. In 2025, he released several singles and is working on his sophomore album.
