Amelia Day is a folk rock powerhouse entering the conversation with mainstays like Brandi Carlile, the Indigo Girls, and Melissa Etheridge. Underscoring her carefree melodies with gritty, confessional lyricism and raw, heartfelt delivery, she performs with an intimacy that makes even new listeners feel familiar. Amelia mixes elements of her adolescent Seattle mixtapes of folk, rock, and jazz in music that plays freely with genre, while still being undeniably “Amelia Day”. Without a label, manager, or agent, Amelia has sold out venues like Seattle’s iconic The Triple Door, been featured on popular stations like KEXP and 107.7 The End, played high-profile festivals like Folklife Festival, CHOMP!, and Bite of Seattle, and independently amassed over 3M streams and 90K monthly listeners on Spotify.
Amelia Day released her sophomore EP “Little One” last November, which has been met with rave reviews from publications like the UW Daily and Outwrite, and is hard at work on her next project!
The Bed Heads
The bed heads are an indie-folk revolution rooted in the PNW. Their evolving sound is an amalgamation of muse and melody, modern stories merged with the wisdom of timeless truths. Influenced by a range of musical storytellers like Dawes, Nathaniel Rateliff, Hozier, Bendigo Fletcher, and Madison Cunningham. The Bed Heads investigate the highs and lows of this life.
Songwriter and vocalist Landon Spencer is joined by collaborators Sam McQuarrie on bass, guitars Eric Kennedy and Drew Brereton with Azariah Ramirez bringing the beat. The Bed Heads have brought together and exciting new mix of musical imagination and dedication to perfecting their sound. The resulting music is a lyrical blend of wordplay, intricate guitar, and themes that touch the soul.
Having opened for bands such as Stoplight Observations, Kuinka and Vika and played for festivals like Luckyfest, Cannonball, and Bazaar, The Bed Heads are a fresh sound lighting up the indie-folk world.
