Thursday, May 9th ANDY SHAUF with Lutalo @ SHRINE BALLROOM Andy Shauf’s latest record was soooooo good, and he’s bringin’ his indie folk rock vibes to the Shrine to kick off our Hot Mom Weekend! Thursday, May 9th BLICK BASSY with Lindsey Hunt @ NEUROLUX Y’all this is gonna be one for the books. French by way of Cameroon based Blick Bassy is bringing a blend of traditional African music (sung in his native language of Bassa) with banjo, guitar, trombone, electronic elements, and a whole lotta soul. Thursday, May 9th MCKENNA ESTEB (album release) with Moon Owl's Mages and The Plastic Cherries @ TREEFORT MUSIC HALL Local legend McKenna Esteb is celebrating the release of her latest & greatest album with support from Boise rockers Moon Owl’s Mages and SLC-based vintage-funk group The Plastic Cherries. With soaring soulful lyrics and funky groovy riffs, McKenna is a force to be reckoned with. Friday, May 10th SAM EVIAN with Hannah Cohen @ NEUROLUX Not only is Sam Evian a talented musician, he’s also worked with and produced some amazing artists, including Big Thief, Widowspeak, Blonde Redhead, Dehd, Kate Bollinger, and more. Friday, May 10th LA LOM with Los Tranquilos @ SHRINE SOCIAL CLUB SOLD OUT! LA LOM (which is an acronym for Los Angeles League of Musicians) is an instrumental supergroup that bends cumbia, jazz, americana, and 60’s soul, with a dash of Peruvian Chicha and classic romantic boleros. His father (the Sr.) was latin music legend known as Rey de Timbal, and changed the latin music scene forever. Tito Puente, Jr. combines Afro-Caribbean rhythms and Latin jazz. Live your hot Miami night dreams and salsa-cumbia-bachata-mambo the night away at this high energy show. Kicking the night off is local group Afrosonics to bring the beats! Saturday, May 11th PETEY with PHONY @ TREEFORT MUSIC HALL PLUS BONUS PRE-PETEY & RE-PETEY DJ SETS at Hap Hap Lounge LOW TICKET ALERT You may recognize this long haired weirdo from some of the most unhinged TikTok videos in your feed. Yep, he has a band too! We are psyched to welcome PETEY back to Boise (he played Main Stage of TMF in 2023) in support of his highly anticipated new album ‘USA’. Let PETEY bring you back to the days of teen angst, rebellion, and shopping at Hot Topic. Pop punk with thoughtful lyrics, rippin’ riffs, and a ton of fun. Start the night with grungy introspective punk rocker PHONY. Plus, bookend your night up at Hap Hap for our PRE-PETEY and RE-PETEY DJ sets featuring members of PETEY spinning their favorite tunes. Saturday, May 11th BOYSCOTT with guests @ SHRINE SOCIAL CLUB This daydreamy surf rock group is bringing their indie-pop minimalism to light up the Shrine. Boyscott’s sound can be described as a delicate blend of echo-chamber pop, crisp acoustic guitar and summer camp nostalgia. With the addition of powerful hooks and poetic lyricism, it is not hard to see how the band has garnered upwards of 4 million streams on Spotify after the release of their debut album, 'Goose Bumps,' in 2015. Sunday, May 12th NEPTUNE MOON with Surf Green Machine and Megabats @ Shrine Social Club Neptune Moon helped define the Boise scene with a single chord, a rebellious melody, and a heartfelt love for music. The band released their debut single Way Out in October 2022. They have played various local shows and have stolen the hearts of many music lovers of all genres.

Monday, May 13th An Evening with SAM BUSH BAND @ TREEFORT MUSIC HALL In partnership with our our pals at the Idaho Bluegrass Association, we are thrilled to bring GRAMMY award winning and two time International Bluegrass Hall of Fame inductee Sam Bush, along with his full band. Bush is infamous for his mandolin playing and known as the co-creator of the “Newgrass” movement. Throughout his illustrious career, Sam Bush has played and collaborated with the likes of Béla Fleck, Emmylou Harris, Leon Russell, Merle Watson, and Ricky Skaggs, as well as strumming his mandolin on the soundtrack of O Brother, Where Art Thou? This intimate evening is going to be full of toe-tapping tunes and mind-blowing performances. See you there!
