Harry Lawson (born November 17, 2001), known professionally as Peech, is an American country/folk/pop singer-songwriter from Park City, Utah, signed to TAMLA Music under Capitol Christian Music Group (Capitol CMG).
Raised in the Wasatch Mountains, Peech’s early life was shaped by motion, solitude, and wide open space—competitive skiing, camping trips, and long days wandering the forests and peaks of his small mountain hometown. That balance between movement and stillness would later become a defining trait of his songwriting. His father, Jason Lawson, introduced him to music through his friendship with Pennywise bassist Jason Thirsk. In elementary school, Peech joined his dad on stage to perform “Bro Hymn” in tribute, learning early that music could carry memory, honor loss, and give people something to hold onto when words fall short.
Peech began releasing music independently in 2018, carving out an emotionally raw and deeply introspective sound influenced by Mac Miller, Kid Cudi, Bon Iver, The Lumineers, and Milky Chance. His early catalog blended melodic hip-hop, atmospheric folk, and intimate storytelling—songs written less for attention and more for survival. At its core, his music has always been about sitting with hard feelings rather than running from them: love that lingers, grief that reshapes you, identity in flux, and the quiet hope that growth can come from pain.
In 2022, Peech signed with Tha Lights Global and performed at Rolling Loud SXSW alongside artists including Don Toliver and Sheck Wes. His debut EP, These Times Don’t Feel Right, surpassed 2 million streams, resonating with listeners who saw their own uncertainty reflected in his honesty. After leaving the label in 2023, Peech returned to releasing music independently, later earning placement on Apple Music’s Today at Apple playlist—proof that his connection with listeners ran deeper than any single moment or deal.
In 2025, Peech signed with Nashville-based label TAMLA Music under Capitol CMG. His EP Small Town America Pt.1 surpassed 1 million streams in its first month, marking a pivotal chapter in his evolution and signaling his breakout in the country/folk/pop space. That same year, he made his CMA Fest debut at Skydeck on Broadway, bringing his mountain-grown
storytelling to one of country music’s biggest stages. In August 2025, he followed with his Whiskey Jam debut, further solidifying his place in Nashville’s live-music community.
Looking ahead, Peech is set to release Small Town America Pt.2 in March 2026, alongside plans for a supporting tour. With a voice rooted in small-town honesty and a sound that bridges folk warmth, pop melody, and country storytelling, he has been recognized as an Artist to Watch in 2026 by Sweety High.
