LP Giobbi
For each of the last several years, DJ, producer, jazz-trained pianist, and activist LP Giobbi has spent 300 days on the road, jet-setting between massive festival stages, crowded club floors, board meetings, and cutting-edge studios.
A remix powerhouse known for re-imaginings of her beloved Grateful Dead and a song builder with unerring senses of momentum and melody, LP Giobbi’s new album Dotr (out Oct 18th) is the follow up to her debut, 2023’s Light Places, the album that earned her the title of DJ Mag’s Producer of the Year and one of NPR’s Favorite New Musicians of 2023.
An attempt to capture some semblance of home while in motion, LP Giobbi’s Dotr radiates the comfort that the luckiest of us have found in anything. Named for the way LP signed notes to her parents as a kid, Dotr offers songs of love and reconciliation alongside hymns of grief and anxiety, and odes to chances unapologetically taken. Dotr is a testament to the whirlwind of Giobbi’s life, and to one of the most exciting arcs of anyone making electronic music right now.
With 340M+ streams across platforms, LP Giobbi has played to crowds at Coachella, Tomorrowland, Electric Forest, Kappa Futur and toured with the likes of John Summit, Diplo, Dead & Co, Black Coffee, and Sofi Tukker. She is also the global music director for W Hotels, founder of Femme House, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that advocates for gender equity in electronica, and head of Yes Yes Yes, her record label that recognizes few artistic bounds.

Free Creatures
The Pacific Northwest brings us yet another new musical flavor in the alt hip hop power fusion trio, Free Creatures. The trio features emcee & producer Marv Ellis remixing original beats on an MPC live while rapping and freestyling in his beloved and charismatic style. Marv is joined by the smooth, sweet swagger of upright bassist and singer Emily Turner, and the riveting effects of electric guitar layers and solos from Skyler Squglio.
Free Creatures have enjoyed steadfast, all-organic, independent growth since their inception in 2019. Having just performed in Alaska and Hawaii, their fall tour boasts dates coast to coast across the continental US, making 2022 their biggest year ever.
