Duck Club Presents

Don’t worry, Flipside friends: We will be back!

You may be asking, “Why is Flipside taking a year off?” To put it simply: the Duck Club team needs a bit of a summer break.

Over the last four years we have built and created a lot…

⭐ navigated the pandemic
⭐ held two Treefort Music Fests in six months
⭐ moved the fest’s Main Stage to Julia Davis Park
⭐ introduced and produced two Flipside Fests
⭐ opened Treefort Music Hall and Hap Hap Lounge
⭐ took over operations of the historic El Korah Shrine building and transformed it into the two venues that make up Shrine Social Club

From all of this, we grew the internal team to double its previous size. It has been a magical whirlwind of navigating new territory and seeing longtime dreams come true.

“We love Flipside Fest and making the decision to put the fest on hold for a year was not one we made lightly,” said Duck Club CEO Eric Gilbert. “Our team has been at work nonstop over the last four years and, as much as we will miss partying in Garden City in September, we are looking forward to having a slower summer and focusing on hosting some really amazing shows at both our venues in Downtown Boise. We are forever grateful for the support of our community and can’t wait to bring Flipside Fest back in 2025.”

In the meantime, check out all the shows Duck Club is bringing to Boise this year. There’s plenty of tunes coming up to fill your cup! Plus, stay tuned for some seasonal surprises we’ve got up our sleeves–to be announced later this year.

Thank you for rockin’ out with us all year long. We’ll catch you on the flipside!
