Deadlands
DEADLANDS are a New York-based band infusing fresh and unexpected energy into traditional
post-hardcore. Founding member and frontwoman Kasey Karlsen is used to laying her cards face up
on the table, as she has been writing about her toxic relationships, friendships, hardships, and current
events basically all topics that are near and dear to her heart — since she was in high school. She
also draws over million followers across platforms, thanks to her compelling content. CJ Arey,
professionally known as “NO SHADE,” creates melodies for the guitar and bass while simultaneously
inputting his own flare of trap and cinematic references into the production of the music. In 2024 and
2025, the band headlined shows across the United States, supported Scene Queen on her tour, and
made stops along the way to perform at Louder Than Life, Aftershock, and Blue Ridge Festivals. In
June 2025, the band released the 7-song EP, SEVEN., on Spinefarm/Universal. Each song on
SEVEN. represents one of the 7 deadly sins. The band is currently writing and recording a full-
length album with the first single scheduled for release April 2026. Fans of bands like Asking
Alexandria, Motionless In White, Escape the Fate, Falling in Reverse, Wage War, In This Moment,
and Bring Me The Horizon will be magnetically drawn to DEADLANDS.
RedHook
RedHook are the new mutation of heavy music – unapologetic, genre-defying, and emotionally explosive. Armed with bold, brutally honest songwriting and a fierce DIY spirit, the Sydney alt-rock shapeshifters are injecting fresh energy, colour and perspective into the world of heavy music, while steadily building a loyal global cult following as passionate as the band itself.
RedHook’s 2024 sophomore album Mutation debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, fuelled by multiple triple j high-rotation singles, a previous feature album, Live At The Wireless special and their first Like A Version appearance. The record also earned the band playlist covers across Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music, alongside a run of sold out headline shows across Australia, UK and Europe.
2025 has now ignited a new era of domination for RedHook, with the band embarking on two major UK/European tours, as well as supporting Stand Atlantic across regional Australia and Don Broco across the capital cities, not to mention making their live debut in Japan supporting scene icons Set It Off — following a packed fan signing at Shibuya’s iconic Tower Records.
Their explosive live energy has already catapulted them onto some of the world’s biggest rock festival stages — Rock Am Ring (GER), Download (UK), Rock For People (CZ) and Good Things (AU) to name a few. In Australia, they’ve also crossed the threshold into the mainstream, dominating stages at major Aussie fests like Spilt Milk, Groovin The Moo, Rolling Sets, Be Social and more.
More than just a band, RedHook are building a movement. As Rock Sound (UK) puts it: “A band focused on creating a safe space for the world’s misfits and outsiders.”
