Hailing from Guadalajara, Mexico, and forged in the vibrant musical scene of the United States, Riio is making waves as an artist, singer, and songwriter in the reggaeton genre. Growing up in a musical family, it was only natural for him to pursue a career in music. In July 2021, Riio took a significant step in his career with the release of his debut six-track EP, Capitulos. This initial project showcased his potential and set the stage for his eclectic sound. Since then, he has dropped a plethora of singles that traverse various genres, including corridos, cumbias, afrobeats, and trap, which further demonstrate his versatility as an artist.

As his artistry evolved, Riio captured the attention of several Spotify editorial playlists, solidifying his place in the music landscape. His infectious tracks such as “La Babys” and “Sueltate” exemplify a modern Dominican dembow infused with vibrant Caribbean rhythms, resonating deeply with fans.

Fast forward to 2024, and Riio has truly emerged as a complete artist, confidently unveiling his first official album, Txmeless Dreams. In this project, he showcases his refined cadence, fluid flow, and melodic prowess. “Txmeless Dreams has allowed me to bring it back to my essence, to my origins—pure reggaeton and melodies,” he reflects.
