Tan Cologne is the duo of Lauren Green and Marissa Macias based in Northern New Mexico. Their sound parallels Earthly and otherworldly landscapes.

“Cave Vaults on the Moon in New Mexico” (2020 Debut) has been listed as one of Gorilla vs Bear’s “Favorite Albums of 2020”, Brooklyn Vegan: Indie Basement's Best Albums of 2020, selected as a “Staff Listening Pick” on PASTE Magazine, & more.

“Earth Visions of Water Spaces” (September 2022) has been noted as a “low key shoegaze masterpiece” by Electronic Sound Magazine, as well as “one of the most influential records of the year” by Circuit Sweet, and Gorilla vs Bear's "Best Albums of 2022".

Tracks from their latest album have been featured in Rolling Stone France,

and Flood Magazine’s “discourse-worthy tracks you should know”.

Tan Cologne recently completed a unique sound residency and performance at Pescetrullo in Puglia, Italy as well as Baja, Mexico. The residency instrumental recordings and accompanying book from Pescetrullo were released in 2023 via Labrador Records.

Tan Cologne is currently finishing their third LP.
