With roots in earnest and truthful music, Hollow Wood maintains a balance of intimacy and power that blend together to create an incredibly engaging musical experience. Formed in Boise, Idaho in 2010, Hollow Wood consists of an organic and consistently evolving lineup of musicians who are devoted to expressing music in an honest way. Scott Yoder spent his teenage and young adult years with The Pharmacy (Burger, Park The Van Records) touring with bands ranging from Kimya Dawson to Japanther. Now he heads his own solo project band straddling the common vibes of Folk, Glam & Powerpop. His debut LP “Looking Back In Blue” released in March 2016 was followed by 5 weeks in Europe and a string of festivals in the US including Capitol Hill Block Party & Siren Festival. Now featuring Jesse Lortz of Duchess & The Duke/Case Studies his more theatric-electric backing band will be touring down the West Coast at the end of May.
