“To be the first to enter the cosmos, to engage, single-handed, in an unprecedented duel with nature – could one dream of anything more?” – Yuri Gagarin, Cosmonaut
Jupiter Holiday will assist you in your duel with nature and enter the cosmos by being your portal to spontaneous feet movements and cosmic hip shaking. Jupiter Holiday is a space vacation – a chance to blast off – to leave your everyday reality for a few hours of adventure through music. Let us take you on a journey. We’ll get you back safe.
Boise, Idaho based Jupiter Holiday started as a musical friendship between Jason Grazian (drums) and Michael Basset (guitars, vocals); two like minded individuals who met in high school band. That friendship has grown into a quintet with Shaun Palmer (lead guitar), Luke Anderson (guitars/synths/vocals) and Chuck Banks (bass/vocals) who are now crafting a soulful and high energy brand of progressive funk rock fusion for fans of all musical genres. Combining melodic harmonies, jammy riffs and groovy rhythms to create a unique yet ever familiar musical experience, they have become a regional favorite that can be seen everywhere from the Boise downtown scene, to rustic mountain saloons, to beautiful outdoor festival settings.
Jupiter Holiday released their first studio album Deep, Delicious, Secret Surprise in 2013 receiving rave reviews from local papers such as the Idaho Statesman and Boise Weekly.
